    April 10, 2017 - The Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) 2017 took place from March 30 to April 9, 2017. The fest included the Texas Feature Competition, featuring films either shot in or relating to the Lone Star State.   • Texas Films at SXSW 2017
    March 21, 2017 - The festival had over 40 features and shorts with Texas ties. A Bad Idea Gone Wrong won Special Jury Recognition for Best Ensemble, Dealt won the Audience Award for Documentary Features, and director Noël Wells won the Louis Black "Lone Star" Award & Narrative Spotlight Audience Award for her Austin-shot film Mr. Roosevelt.   • Texas Film Round-Up in Fort Bend County, March 16 - 26
    February 01, 2017 - The Texas Film Round-Up provides FREE digitization for Texas-related films and videos in exchange for the donation of a digital copy of the materials to www.texasarchive.org.
