Texas Films at SXSW 2018
SXSW 2018 featured more than 50 features and shorts with Texas ties. Thunder Road won the Grand Jury Award for Narrative Feature, and Daughters of the Sexual Revolution: The Untold Story of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders was award the Louis Black 'Lone Star' Award. TransMilitary was awarded the Audience Award for Documentary Feature. In the Texas categories, winners included An Uncertain Future (Texas Shorts) and The Night I Lost My Favorite Jacket and CCISD Strong (Texas High School Shorts).
Congratulations to all of the Texas-based filmmakers and Texas-made projects that premiered at SXSW 2018, and congratulations to the SXSW team on 25 years of #SXSWFilm!
