Texas FilmWorks is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team in College Station, TX.
This position requires three or more years of experience in post production and a strong understanding of the entire post process. You will work directly with our creative team to move projects through our post production pipeline with excellence, intention, and speed.
This position will work from our studio in College Station, TX. This is not a remote position.
What You Will Do
Edit high quality commercial, branded, and documentary projects
Perform color grading in DaVinci Resolve
Build clean and intentional graphics and motion work in Adobe After Effects
Provide sound design and sound mastery that supports the story
Work closely with directors and producers to shape an edit from start to finish
Maintain organized project files and structured workflows conforming to existing workflows, and helping find efficiencies when possible
Bring fresh ideas, professional craft, and a desire to help Texas FilmWorks continue to grow
Job Requirements

Detailed understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and visual design
Experience with Adobe Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve, and computers. This position requires computers.

$40,000 to $50,000/year depending on experience
