Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concerts
As Hurricane Harvey benefit concerts for all those affected by the storm's massive devastation along the Texas Gulf Coast continue, the Texas Music Office continues to work behind the scenes on events both big and small - including the upcoming Texas Music Flood benefit concerts - to help direct fundraising to RebuildTX.org, and other certified nonprofits and charitable organizations. More than $12 million was raised at benefit concerts in September, and many more continue throughout October.

Texas Music License Plate Sales Double After Redesign
With our fiscal year closing at the end of August, the TMO is proud to announce that our Texas Music specialty license plate sales are at an all-time high after the office revamped the plate's design and increased its marketing efforts. Based on sales reports from Texas Department of Transportation, revenue has doubled since the redesign of the plate.

Fort Worth Designated "Music Friendly Community"
TMO Director Brendon Anthony traveled to Fort Worth to announce the Fort Worth music community as an officially recognized “music friendly community” as designated by the Texas Music Office’s new program. Look for additional Texas cities to join the program, and receive the designation within the upcoming months.
