The Texas Music Office offers internships every semester to two students. Since opening in January 1990, more than 300 students from 23 colleges have successfully completed the TMO's internship program.
Program Description
The internship program of the Texas Music Office (TMO) in the Office of the Governor offers college students the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of the music industry. TMO interns are required to work at least 12 (and as many as 20) hours per week. Responsibilities include: developing business statements, data entry, responding to information requests from industry professionals and the general public, outreach, marketing, and assisting program admins.
