About the Texas Film Round-Up
Offered in partnership from the Texas Film Commission and Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI), the Texas Film Round-Up provides FREE digitization for Texas-related films and videos in exchange for the donation of a digital copy of the materials to texasarchive.org. Since 2008, the program has provided new access to more than 30,000 films and videos and served hundreds of individuals and institutions. The program is open to home movies, advertisements, local television, community films, and more. Your films and videotapes are valuable records of Texas history and culture, and with your help, Texas’ media heritage will be available for future generations to appreciate. To qualify for free digitization, participants must be willing to donate a digital copy of their materials to TAMI’s archive, a digital collection at texasarchive.org. We also collect copies of Texas-related films that have already been digitized.
