Happy New Year!
As we begin a new year, I send you best wishes as well as the hope and possibility of exciting opportunities ahead. While the past year was a challenging one for our production community, I am incredibly proud of the ways in which we collaborated to restart the media production industries in Texas with health and safety as the top priority. We will continue to adapt and evolve as a community in 2021, and I’ll look forward to all that we can do to safely revitalize our industries together.
I am most thankful for your resilience and willingness to take care of your community. I am confident that we can accomplish even more in the new year by working together toward a future full of possibility and growth.
The new year also marks the 50th Anniversary of the Texas Film Commission. We are planning a lot of special events and engagements for the entire year that will shine a light on what makes the Texas creative community so vibrant and enduring. We hope that you will join us in the celebration and participate in the variety of festivities that will be announced in the coming months. Stay tuned!
From all of us at the Texas Film Commission: Happy New Year!
