Make your mark in 2025 Denton Black Film Festival

Whether you’re a budding creative or an experienced filmmaker, it can be difficult to break into the competitive and ever-evolving entertainment industry. The Denton Black Film Festival was created to give storytellers a platform to share their work.

Each year we host curated experiences alongside our competitive film festival. Being accepted means you get access and the opportunity be a part of insightful panel discussions, virtual events, music, comedy, spoken word experiences, and more – all designed to help you get your work seen by local and international audience!

College Students – Required proof of School Status with Entry (Copy of dated ID or transcript)
Texas High School Students- Required proof of School Status with Entry (Copy of ID or letter on school letterhead)
