  • Kilgore College is a public community college located in the East Texas Oilfield. With a strong history of emphasis in the arts, Kilgore College offers an Associate of Music degree as well as an Associate of Arts degree in music. The student-teacher ratio in music classes at KC is approximately 15:1, small enough so that individual attention can be paid to each student. Kilgore College offers ensembles including the KC Chorale, KC Connection, East Texas Community Chorus, Ranger Band/Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Workshop Combo and two Keyboard Orchestras. The department hosts multiple fine arts events in the Van Cliburn Auditorium, seating 270, and the Dodson Auditorium, seating 1500.
  • Kilgore College offers opportunities to perform in 12 different ensembles in places such as New York, Europe, and Mexico. These ensembles include the Wind Symphony (60 members), Concert Band (45 members), Jazz Ensemble (20 members), Brass Ensemble (six members), Woodwind Ensemble (four members), Chamber Ensemble (eight members), Piano Ensemble (six members), Guitar Ensemble (six members), KC Connection (eight members), Chorale (40 members), Music Theatre Ensemble (12 members), and Women's Chorus (18 members).
