Virtual Music Friendly Community Workshop Coming To Dripping Springs, Houston, and Arlington in October
On Wednesday, October 21, the TMO will co-host a virtual Music Friendly Community (MFC) Workshop with the City of Dripping Springs. On Monday, October 26, the TMO and the City of Houston will co-host a virtual MFC Workshop. And on Tuesday, October 27, the TMO will co-host a virtual MFC Workshop with the City of Arlington. TMO Community Relations and Outreach Specialist Chip Adams will host the workshops via livestream to represent the TMO, answer questions, and speak about how the Music Friendly Community program provides economic development opportunities for Texas communities.

The Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau is taking steps to become a certified Music Friendly Community through the Texas Music Office, Office of the Governor. As a music business and/or Dripping Springs stakeholder, you are invited to join a virtual meeting to become acquainted with the program and learn about the benefits for Dripping Springs.

Virtual Music Friendly Community Workshop - Houston
The Texas Music Office and the city of Houston Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs will co-host a virtual Music Friendly Community Workshop on Monday, October 26 at 6 pm. The workshop is open to anyone interested in learning about the new Texas Music Office program that seeks to foster music business economic development in Texas cities and communities. Chip Adams, Community Relations & Outreach Specialist of the Texas Music Office within the Office of the Governor’s Economic Development and Tourism Division, will be present to explain the Music Friendly Community designation and answer questions.
