Music festival
The 12th annual Viva Big Bend music festival will be July 26-30, 2023! Featuring 65+ shows in more than a dozen venues in Alpine, Marfa, Marathon, Terlingua, Presidio and Fort Davis. Viva Big Bend showcases the best of the state: natural beauty, talented musicians and an amazing culture. Viva Big Bend has grown to approximately 65 shows in more than 15 venues in six far West Texas communities. The weather at the end of July in these high-elevation communities is an average high of 89 with lows in the mid-60s.
