Bluegrass, Cajun/Zydeco, Country, Folk/Acoustic
Fiddling contests, Music festival, BBQ Cookoff , Sausage Cookoff

Held at the giant Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville with the best Fidders from Texas and across the country competing for over $20,000 in prize money. The events begin on Thursday with a free Jam Session. Food available On Friday night the contest begins along with a Cajun Fun night featuring Louisiana Grammy award winner Buckwheat Zydeco Jr. and the Ils Sont Partis Band and local favorites. Crawfish, Gumbo, American food and more served. On Saturday the Freshman and Senior Division featuring some very talented fiddlers from all ages. Outside is a barbecue cook-off as well free live music. On Saturday night the inside stage will host Mike Ryan with Broken Alibi. On Sunday the Texas Fiddlers Hall of Fame will induct a recipient to the Hall of Fame. Such noteworthy fiddlers as Johnny Gimble, Terry Morris and Bob Wills are in the hall of fame. Outside is another barbecue cook-off with live music, food, arts and crafts and more. Taste some of the best barbecue you have ever had. Inside will have the best fiddlers in Texas compete for the title of Texas State Champion Fiddler.
