Brimming with wit and charm, Kevin Paul Hofeditz shares wisdom from his life with “It’s When All the Songs Make Sense,” a show that dares to answer the question, “How do you know when you’re in love?” Professing his story through the songs of Stephen Sondheim, Henry Mancini, and Michel LeGrand, among others, this retired teacher still has some lessons to teach up his sleeve. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Kurth Hall; doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person or $40 for Sammons members. Admission includes light refreshments, valet parking, and beverages. Seen last year in the nationally touring musical production of 1776, Liz Mikel delivers a hometown concert that promises to transport the audience directly to Broadway in New York City, where she has spent much of her career. Boasting a list of appearances on renowned stages in many hit productions, there is no way of knowing what exactly is in store for all lucky enough to get a ticket to Liz’s Sammons Cabaret show.
