The Fruehling Saengerfest is a German "Spring Singing Festival" with roots back to 1860.  Activities began at 11AM with a flag ceremony.  At 11:30 the Bellville Lions Club will be serving their famous BBQ Chicken & Sausage dinner.  Come and enjoy the music of Round Top Brass Band, Bellville High School Polka Band, Polka Friends, Concordia, Gesang Verein, Houston Liederkranz, La Grange HS German Dancers, Houston Saengerbund.  There will plenty of cold bier to enjoy throughout the event.
