Music festival
We are happy to announce that our 2023 East Texas Pipe Organ Festival in honor of the life and work of Roy Perry is scheduled to take place November 5-9 in Kilgore, Texas. This annual festival features the Aeolian-Skinner pipe organs designed and tonally finished by Mr. Perry in the East Texas area, and includes visits to local attractions, presentations on organ building, programs on other notable organs of interest, much socializing, catered and private events, and our infamous nightly Al’s Paradise at the Kilgore Comfort Suites. This year’s guest presenters include George Bozeman, Ken Cowan, Scott Dettra, Richard Elliott, Clara Gerdes, David Hurd, Christopher Marks, Ben Shepherd, Lisa Shihoten, Chan Teague, Fred Teardo, and Clark Wilson.
