Activities: Music festival

The Conroe Crossroads music festival will fill downtown Conroe with tunes April 7-10, 2022. The inaugural festival will feature artists of numerous genres performing at venues across the city. Wristbands will give festival attendees access to around 40 shows. Conroe Crossroads will also feature some free and open to the public shows. The festival is a partnership with Open Sky Media, which produces regional magazines Austin Monthly and San Antonio Magazine, as well as Texas Music, which has celebrated the music and artists of the Lone Star State for more than 20 years and keeps fans in the know with reviews, profiles, and in-depth looks at up-and-comers, pioneers, and the stories behind the songs at txmusic.com. As a Music Friendly Community, designated by the state of Texas, Conroe is an ideal location for a festival of this kind. Stewart Ramser, president of Open Sky Media, has produced similar festivals in other parts of the state, including West Texas’ Viva Big Bend for 10 years running.
