Classical
Music Festival

Artistic Director Jeffrey Sykes, Executive Director Reneé Davis, and the CPMF Board are excited to announce our 2023 summer Festival season — our 27th — 
which kicks off Thursday, July 6, 2023 and runs through Saturday, July 15.
Over the two-week festival at Trinity Baptist Church, and in concerts in Wimberley and in Boerne, you'll hear 4 programs and 15 phenomenal musicians with an arc 
of programming that will be world-class from start to finish.
It's a season of continuity and dynamic change with the festival theme
of "Same Carriage. Fresh Horses." 

FESTIVAL WEEK 1
Jeffrey Sykes has programmed two blockbuster programs to open week 1.
1. The More Things Change…
Thursday July 6 WIMBERLEY • 7pm
Friday July 7 SAN ANTONIO • 7pm
2. It’s An Old Story Made New
Saturday July 8 SAN ANTONIO • 7pm
Sunday July 9 BOERNE • 3pm

FESTIVAL WEEK 2
The second week continues chamber music magic.
3. New Wine in Old Bottles
Friday July 14 SAN ANTONIO • 7pm
with the San Antonio premiere of the newly commissioned work 
by composer John Wineglass "And the summer was over" for piano quintet
4. Breaking the Mold
Saturday July 15 SAN ANTONIO • 7pm
