March 23 - Gracias a La Vida! at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre
FREE and Open to the Public - Tickets Required for Entry An international all-star cast will present a stylistic collaboration of Spanish, Mexican and Latin music with modern and latin jazz styles. Incomparable Mexican jazz singer Magos Herrera will be joined by Victor Prieto, accordion virtuoso from Galicia and Musical Bridges’ favorite San Antonio jazz trio featuring Aaron Prado on piano.

March 24 - Melting Pot at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre
FREE and Open to the Public - Tickets Required for Entry. Sam Reider and the Human Hands bring irresistible melodies and fiery improvisation to a mashup of Reider’s own creation, blending contemporary composition techniques with American jazz, folk, and pop tunes from around the globe. This unique six-piece ensemble features Reider on accordion, an array of string instruments, and saxophone.

March 25 - The Lark at San Fernando Cathedral
FREE and Open to the Public - Tickets Required for Entry. The Miró Quartet, one of America’s most celebrated string quartets and the first ensemble ever to be awarded an Avery Fisher Career Grant, will be joined by Kristin Wolfe Jensen, professor of Bassoon at The University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music. The program features Joseph Haydn’s quartet “The Lark”, and “Meeelaan” for bassoon and string quartet by Wynton Marsalis - American composer, trumpeter and jazz legend. 

March 26 - Dou Amal at San Fernando Cathedral
FREE and Open to the Public - Tickets Required for Entry Virtuoso concert pianists Yaron Kohlberg of Israel and Bishara Haroni of Palestine make up the two halves of Duo Amal. Their name “Amal” means “Hope” in Arabic, reflecting their belief that music can overcome different backgrounds and cultural boundaries. The Sydney Morning Herald noted that "the virtuoso pianists bear testament to the capacity of music to transcend conflicts that have proved intractable.” 

March 27 - Spring Renaissance at San Fernando Cathedral
Musical masterpieces of Medieval and Renaissance fill the spring air with The Austin Troubadours! Founder and award-winning Serbian lutenist Slobodan Vujisic leads the high-energy international ensemble in a historically-informed performance!

Family Day! at Main Plaza
MBAW invites children and their families to attend this outdoor event with short performance vignettes and interactive activities representing different international cultures! Artist performances will include Spanish flamenco, American jazz, Mexican mariachi, Indian dance, and European renaissance.
