  • KACV (89.9 FM) "Amarillo College’s FM90" is a 100,000-watt modern Texas station in association with Amarillo Junior College featuring progressive music everyday between 6 a.m.-midnight. We also play jazz on Sundays. Special attention is given to Texas artists. Texas-related programs include Textunes hosted by Jesica Wood every Sunday Morning from 9-noon. In order to submit your music for consideration, please adhere to one of the following: send .mp3 or .wav files to mike.fuller@actx.edu; send to KACV FM90 Attn. Program Director, P.O. Box 447 Amarillo, TX 79178; or in person to the station at 2408 S. Jackson St. on Amarillo College campus during regular business hours, Monday though Friday 9am to 5pm. In person submissions will not be accepted at any other time. Regardless of how you choose to make your submission, it needs to include the artist name, song title, and a name and phone number for contact info. Music with questionable, offensive or profane lyrical content will not be considered for airplay. Music with substandard production quality will not be considered for airplay. Submissions become the property of KACV FM90 and will not be returned. The Program Director for KACV FM90 will review all submissions and make all decisions concerning airplay on FM90.

  • KWTS 91.1 FM is a non-commercial college station that promotes the freshest music and newest talent on the West Texas A&M University campus. KWTS is fully operated by students. KWTS is also involved in many other broadcasting organizations: National Broadcasting Society, Live Crew, and various campus and community activities. We operate at 6,000 watts, which reaches approximately nine counties in the Texas Panhandle. KWTS serves the students of West Texas A&M University, Canyon, Amarillo and surrounding areas by offering a diverse program. They offer specialty programs to almost any and every taste in this area.

  • KOHM (89.1 FM) is a 70,000-watt public radio station with classical music and fine arts programming. Programming focuses primarily on classical music and also includes NPR programming (such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Performance Today and Car Talk) and APM programming (such as A Prairie Home Companion, St. Paul Sunday and Pipedreams). KOHM serves the residents of the South Plains of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Our format is unique to Lubbock County and eight surrounding counties or portions of an additional 12 counties.

  • KWLD (91.5 FM) is a 370-watt, student-run radio station featuring contemporary Christian music. We are the only station in West Texas that plays Christian music throughout the day. We also broadcast Wayland Baptist University Pioneer and Flying Queen basketball to Hale County. As a non-commercial station, we accept grants and donations to promote the ministry of Wayland Baptist University. We broadcast from 7 a.m.-midnight.
