  • KUHF (88.7 FM) "Houston's Public Radio" is a 100,000-watt non-commercial classical music station broadcasting from the University of Houston. Programming includes The Front Row (M-F, 3-4 p.m.) featuring local and regional Texas music artists recorded live in concert and live in-studio performances as well as Houston Symphony (Wednesday, 9 p.m.) Programming also includes classical music (82 percent), NPR news (17 percent), New Age music (2 percent). The station is capable of studio and remote all-digital music recording and production, and has produced several classical music compact discs.
