Fischer Fest is sponsored by Cabin 10, Inc., a 501c3 Non-Profit organization. The scholarships are awarded each year in remembrance of our dear friend Rice Harrington, an exceptional art teacher at the San Marcos Consolidated High School. Rice loved Americana music, cold beer, being anywhere with good friends and sharing his passion for the arts with his students. Our mission statement is quite simple: To continue the tradition of American Roots Music in Fischer, Texas as a community, by supporting the artists and funding education in the arts. Fischer Fest is a 3 day celebration of Americana music in the historic Fischer Hall.
