TMO Joins The Film Friendly Texas Forum on May 21
The Texas Music Office will join our sister office - the Texas Film Commission - at their upcoming FILM FRIENDLY TEXAS FORUM on May 20, at Southfork Ranch in Parker, TX. TMO Community Relations & Outreach Specialist Chip Adams will host a panel on our Music Friendly Communities Program. Associate Vice President of Creative and Branding & Director of the Fort Worth Music Office Tom Martens is scheduled to join Adams on the panel discussion.
Governor Abbott Announces Music Friendly Community Workshop In Lufkin
Governor Greg Abbott today announced the Texas Music Office (TMO), Angelina Arts Alliance, and the City of Lufkin will cohost a Music Friendly Community workshop on Monday, May 9 at 5:30 pm. TMO Community Relations & Outreach Specialist Chip Adams will attend the workshop to explain the Music Friendly Community designation and answer questions.

Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the City of Wimberley, having completed the multi-step certification process, has been designated as a Music Friendly Community by the Texas Music Office (TMO). The Music Friendly Community program seeks to foster music business-related economic development in Texas cities and communities.
Wimberley to be Certified as a Music Friendly Community
On Friday, April 29, the Texas Music Office (TMO) will join City of Wimberley - and the Wimberley Valley Arts & Culture Alliance - to celebrate Wimberley becoming a TMO-certified Music Friendly Community. The Music Friendly Community program seeks to foster music business-related economic development in Texas cities and communities. The community celebration featuring live music and hosted by the City of Wimberley and the Texas Music Office is scheduled for April 29, at 6 pm at Blue Hole Regional Park. TMO Community Relations & Outreach Specialist Chip Adams will present the Music Friendly Community designation to Mayor Gina Fulkerson.
