  • Scholarships range from $250 to $1,500 per semester. Scholarships are offered to students that wish to participate in music regardless of major. They are awarded based on musical ability and the recommendation of a high school band director. Auditioning for the music program will also serve as your scholarship audition.   • Blinn College | Department of Music offers an associate degree in music (AA-Field of Study) and the opportunity to participate in band, vocal, or piano. Blinn College's outstanding music faculty have diverse, hands-on experience and make teaching their top priority so that students are exposed to music, ideas and issues that expand their horizons. The Music Department offers small classes, one-on-one attention, practical learning and easily accessible faculty so that students are actively engaged in a superior learning environment.
  • Performance opportunities include Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Large Choir, and Chamber Ensembles of various sizes for both instrumental and vocal students. Concerts take place at on campus venues as well as off-campus sites.
