  • Scholarships are available for music majors and performance awards are available for music majors as well as non-majors. Performance awards are awarded in band, choir, keyboard (piano and organ), vocal performance (music theater and opera) and strings. When participating in more than one ensemble or performance area, you may receive up to $2,000 from the combined Performance awards.

  • The School of Music at Texas Lutheran University endeavors to stimulate growth in the appreciation of music among all members of the student body, and provide professional training for those interested in a career in music.  Texas Lutheran University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Music, the Bachelor of Music in Performance and Bachelor of Music in All-Level Music Education.  We are a member of the Texas Association of Music Schools and the National Association of Schools of Music.
