State Agency Contacts

The Office of the Governor, Economic Development & Tourism leads a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with four state agencies to facilitate cooperation in developing and promoting Texas as a premier travel destination.

Tourism Organizations

We collaborate with agency partners across the state, travel trade professionals, and economic development organizations. Our relationships with tourism partners help drive the Texas economy by fostering the tourism industry. We invite you to explore the many ways you can work with these tourism organizations.

U.S. Travel Association
The U.S. Travel Association is the national, non-profit organization representing all components of the travel industry.

Brand USA
Brand USA is an organization dedicated to marketing the United States as a premier travel destination.

National Travel & Tourism Office
The National Travel & Tourism Office (NTTO) is located in the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.


Texas Travel Alliance

Represents a diverse membership of Texas travel destinations, accommodations, attractions, transportation and support businesses. The Texas Travel Alliance offers education and professional development, while advocating to strengthen travel in Texas.


Texas Hotel & Lodging Association (THLA)

The Texas Hotel & Lodging Association (THLA) is a nonprofit trade association representing every aspect of the lodging and tourism industry.


Travel and Tourism Research Association
The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is a non-profit association whose purpose is to enhance the quality, value, effectiveness and use of research in travel marketing, planning and development.


Destinations International
Destinations International is the world's largest and most reliable resource for official Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), also called convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs) or tourism boards.


Texas Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus

TACVB provides its members with peer-to-peer idea exchanges, tips on new technology and tools to meet the changing demands of meeting planners and tourists to the state of Texas.
