The State of Texas Mexico Office invites Texas companiesto join us at Congreso Mexicano del Petróleo (CMP – Mexican PMexico’s historic energy reforms set in motion a series of changes that continue to revolutionize the country’s oil and gas industry and is quickly becoming one of the most exciting markets for companies along the entire supply chain.

The 32nd edition of the CMP will provide Texas exhibitors with the tools and market overview of how PEMEX, (Mexico’s State-owned Oil Company), and outside companies are now directly operating and how procurement strategies have become more dynamic in this “new” oil and gas reality.

The event will have a quality technical forum with a wide offering of conferences and short courses, all of them framed in a great trade exhibition and the best business environment. For the 2018 edition there will be 700 stands with more than 240 international companies and 8,000 attendees are expected for the conferences and exhibition area.


As an exhibitor, you will:

  • Promote your products and services to Mexican and international companies in the oil and gas
  • industry. Generate trade leads.
  • Create brand awareness. Improve in or introduce your company to the Mexican market.
  • Develop short, medium and long term business relationships.
  • Get in-country support from STMO, such as:
  • B2B meetings arranged with potential business partners in Mexico –at the event
  • STMO staff will attend the show to assist Texas companies

Criteria for Consideration:

  • US-registered and US-operating independent, established, for-profit company (at least one year of revenues) with a Federal Identification Number tied to a Texas address
  • Have an exportable product/service that fits the trade show industry focus, manufactured, produced, processed or value-added in Texas
  • Demonstrate Export Readiness (understand the costs associated with exporting, have a strategic plan for exporting)
  • Remain in good standing with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and not debarred from receiving state or federal funding

Costs:

  • No cost to participate in the shared Texas booth(s)
  • Turn-key exhibit space and registration included
  • Transportation, lodging, meals and company-specific marketing costs are not included
  • State Expansion Program (STEP) funding available to eligible companies:
