Georgetown Art Center Announces 2025 Exhibit Season
(Georgetown, Texas) - Georgetown’s Arts & Culture Program recently unveiled its 2025 public arts exhibit schedule. All shows will take place at the Georgetown Art Center just off of the historic downtown square at 816. S. Main Street. From sculptures to calligraphy to paintings, mixed media and photography, the Center welcomes the new year with a diverse lineup of ten shows, primarily from Texas-based artists.
The arts program promotes community engagement and cultural participation for residents and visitors alike while fostering business development, and facilitating cultural tourism through public art programming and collaborative events. These exhibits range from solo shows to group shows with a singular topic or theme. All exhibits are curated by a committee of local artists in the Georgetown community and are free to the public. At the beginning of each year, the GAC opens the annual call for proposals to artists of all mediums to be considered for the next calendar year.
"Our 2025 season will feature local and national artists of various mediums, including painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography. The new exhibits will include bold topics and colors that are sure to be memorable and inspiring. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend opening receptions, artist talks, and masterclasses" said Amanda Still, Georgetown’s Arts and Culture Program Manager.
The first shows of the year (through March), along with Artist Talks and Opening Receptions, are listed here. Learn more about the full year’s lineup at https://visit.georgetown.org/georgetown_art_center/gallery_schedule/exhibits.php
