Texas Music Office Director Brendon Anthony Participates in Concert Safety Panel

In August, Texas Music Office Director Brendon Anthony was asked to participate in an online panel on concert safety for the interns of the Universal Attractions Agency. UAA brought together a diverse group of professionals with varying roles in the music industry that provided the interns with valuable insight from various perspectives.
The panel focused on concert safety in the past, present, and looking towards the future. The music industry is constantly changing and evolving, and with a new focus on safety at events, and the interns of UAA wanted to explore what concert safety means from an industry perspective and get that expert input. The UAA Interns also wanted explore logistics as to what makes a concert safe (from planning to post-event), the effects of the pandemic on safety, and where the industry is headed in terms of safety at concerts.
This panel consisted of experts in their field in concert safety, including:

Jake Lawson - Head of Security (for a variety of artists, including Dave Chappelle, Khalid)
