Save The Date for 2022 Texas Sounds & Cities in Fort Worth
We're excited to announce the dates for this year's Texas Sounds & Cities conference! Further details will be coming very soon, but please circle the dates of November 9 & 10 on your calendars. Events will be taking place in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
As the Texas Music Office's Music Friendly Community program has grown to include more than 30 communities and cities, we will gather for the fourth annual Texas Sounds & Cities, a two-day Conference with current Certified Music Friendly Communities, as well as in-process and interested cities around the state.
The Music Friendly program works best when all of our communities participate and attend. Sounds & Cities is a great opportunity to meet your peers from other MFC's, share best practices, network, learn and collaborate.
For questions about Sounds & Cities, or for more information on the Music Friendly Community program, please contact Chip Adams, Texas Music Office's Community Relations & Outreach Specialist at (512) 463-6666 or music@gov.texas.gov.
30+ Texas cities have received the official Music Friendly Community designation, including Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Denton, Lindale, Stephenville, Conroe, San Angelo, Nacogdoches, Abilene, McKinney, Waxahachie, Waco, Alpine, Bastrop, New Braunfels, Victoria, Lubbock, Denison, Arlington, Brenham, Dripping Springs, Round Rock, El Paso, Odessa, Vidor, Grand Prairie, Port Aransas, San Marcos, Dallas, Bryan, McAllen, and Salado.
