Official Grand Opening of Grapevine’s Public Landmark - Grapevine Main Station Grand Opening April 24
Toast Grapevine Main Station and new beginnings at the Grand Opening ceremony, hosted by THE Grapevine’s Convention & Visitors Bureau. At 11 a.m. Mayor William D. Tate will lead the building dedication ceremony, which will be followed by a champagne toast in a commemorative champagne flute for community members and visitors aged 21+. After the toast and ribbon cutting, Decades, DFW’s Premier Party Band, performs on Peace Plaza.
Additionally, the 150-foot Observation Tower opens for the first time for visitors to take in the expansive 360 panoramic views of Historic Grapevine and the DFW area. The first 250 attendees will receive commemorative items, including the keepsake champagne flute.
Please check in at the media / VIP tent. Official media may attend a building tour of Grapevine Main and the Observation Tower immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony. Complimentary parking is available from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. in the Hotel Vin parking garage. The entrance is located on Dallas Road.
Saturday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ribbon cutting ceremony occurs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
VIP and media tour for official media only held immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony. VIP lunch is held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Third Rail. Official media are invited to the buffet lunch on the second floor.
Lunch will be provided by the seven globally inspired kitchens of Heritage Hall to official media only.
Complimentary Observation Tower tours open for one day only to the public. Check in is located at the ticket window on the Main Street entrance.
