Advanced Nuclear Construction Reimbursement Program
The Advanced Nuclear Construction Reimbursement Program (ANCRP) is designed to help derisk capital exposure related to the procurement of long lead time components as well as construction and licensing regulatory activities.
ANCRP may provide up to a $120 million reimbursement grant for eligible expenses associated with the construction of an advanced nuclear project in this state.
Eligible Applicants are businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities, including institutions of higher education; and have - or reasonably expect to have - a Nuclear Regualtory Commission (NRC) docketed construction permit or license application for the advanced nuclear project in Texas.
Expenses that qualify for reimbursement are limited to expenses associated with:
- The NRC's review of the construction permit or license application;
- Procurement and development of long-lead components; or
- Construction activities, including the manufacture, fabrication, quality assurance, placement, erection, installation, modification, inspection, or testing of an advanced nuclear project.
