Governor Abbott Appoints Hansen To 523rd Judicial District In Montgomery County
Governor Greg Abbott appointed Donna Hansen as Judge of the 523rd Judicial District Court in Montgomery County, effective September 1, 2026, for a term set to expire December 31, 2028, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
Donna Hansen of Conroe is a division chief and assistant district attorney for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and a former assistant district attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas District & County Attorneys Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Additionally, she is a member of the State Child Fatality Review Team Committee and the Children’s Safe Harbor Board. Hansen received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor from Regent University.
