301st Judicial District Court in Dallas County - Governor Greg Abbott appointed Ashley Wysocki as Judge of the 301st Judicial District Court in Dallas County for a term set to expire December 31, 2026, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
Gulf Coast Protection District (GCPD) Board of Directors - Governor Abbott reappointed and named Roger Guenther as chair of the Gulf Coast Protection District (GCPD) Board of Directors and reappointed Sally Bakko, Michel Bechtel, Sharon Hulgan, and Lori Traweek to the GCPD Board of Directors for terms set to expire on June 16, 2029. The GCPD was created to oversee the implementation of an integrated and comprehensive coastal resilience strategy for the upper Texas coast.
Injured Employee Public Counsel - Governor Abbott appointed Robert Rucker to the Injured Employee Public Counsel for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. The Public Counsel helps injured employees in the Workers' Compensation system, oversees the ombudsman program, and advocates on behalf of injured employees.
