Business Advisory Council To The Texas Division Of Emergency Management - Governor Abbott has reappointed Matthew Powell to the Business Advisory Council to the Texas Division of Emergency Management for a term set to expire on February 1, 2030. The Council provides advice and expertise on actions state and local governments can take to assist businesses in recovering from a disaster.
Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority - Governor Abbott has reappointed Frank Parker, Jr. as presiding officer of the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority for a term set to expire on February 1, 2028. The Regional Mobility Authority is a political subdivision that allows local transportation planning and project delivery leaders to partner with the state to deliver transportation infrastructure projects that will serve Cameron County.
Executive Council Of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners - Governor Abbott reappointed Manoranjan “Mano” Mahadeva to the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. The Council is charged with protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Texas by supporting the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and the Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners as they license and regulate qualified practitioners of physical therapy and occupational therapy and register facilities in which those services are provided.
Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Board Of Directors - Governor Abbott reappointed William Carbonara to the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Board of Directors (GBRA) for a term set to expire February 1, 2031. GBRA oversees water resources for the communities in its ten-county district.

Red River Authority Board Of Directors - Governor Abbott reappointed Tonya Detten and appointed Ron Mullins and Troy Weber to the Red River Authority Board of Directors for terms set to expire on August 11, 2031. Additionally, the Governor appointed Ruben Arias for a term set to expire on August 11, 2027. The Red River Authority provides for the control, conservation, and development of the watershed and water of the Red River and its Texas tributaries.
Rehabilitation Council Of Texas - Governor Abbott has appointed Leslie Cantu, Marla Williams, Elizabeth “Elle” Holtzman, and Jeanie Beaman and reappointed Peggy Schmidt to the Rehabilitation Council of Texas for terms set to expire on October 29, 2028. Texas Commission On Law Enforcement - Governor Abbott appointed David Criner, Jason Griffin, and Rita Watkins, Ed.D. to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement for terms set to expire on August 30, 2031. The Commission establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the people of Texas are served by highly trained and ethical law enforcement, corrections, and telecommunications personnel.
