The festival features a diverse set of accomplished Texas musicians, dancers and groups who perform authentic international–specific music/dance. Performances will include distinctive traditional instruments and promotes appreciation of the music from many cultures that are now part of the Austin and Texas ethnic fabric, including: Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Indian sub-continent, Latin/Central/South Americans, and the Middle East. The annual festivals are well attended, and feedback each year from attendees is overwhelmingly positive. There is no cost to attend the festival, but a $10.00 donation per person is suggested and appreciated. The accompanying poster identifies this year’s festival performers and the schedule of performances. This project is funded and supported in part by the City of Austin through the Economic Growth & Redevelopment Services Office/Cultural Arts Division believing an investment in the Arts is an investment in Austin’s future.
