The Heritage Syrup Festival is a folk life festival in the historical town of Henderson. Syrup making demonstration is the focus but 35 folk artists show their skills as well. On the grounds of the Depot Museum there are demonstrations of the sawmill, print shop, broom and blacksmith shops. Antique tractors and engines line the yard also. You can even take a ride on the Carousel, all while listening to a variety of live performances of country, bluegrass, and folk music. Then catch the hay ride shuttle to downtown for other live bands performing. There are hundreds of booths for shopping, children's activities, antique car show and both locations have great food. The day will be educational as well as fun.
