Via KUT Radio, currently seeking several positions:
Multimedia Producer creates visually compelling content across platforms in collaboration with KUT News, KUTX music, and Texas Standard. They work closely with colleagues across the station, of all different backgrounds and skills. Producers must have demonstrated ability to work well within a team and uphold and further KUT’s mission to provide a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, as well as cover a diverse community.
The Visual Storytelling Editor works collaboratively across teams at KUT and KUTX to develop visual stories consistent with the stations and public media's mission and style. A connector of people and ideas, this individual upholds and furthers KUT/KUTX’s mission to provide a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, as well as cover diverse communities in Central Texas and beyond. A mentor and an evangelizer, this passionate individual will lead training efforts in visual storytelling across the station and will coach the multimedia team to produce compelling stories.
The Broadcast Operator & Technology Manager provides primary oversight and technical operations of KUT's broadcast infrastructure, automation systems, and production equipment and facilities. Coordinates engineering and audio production guidance and planning for KUT, KUTX, the Cactus Cafe and field events. Works with KUT management, Moody College and UT ITS support for changes and plans affecting station infrastructure.
