Hi there! If you are an aspiring Screenwriter looking to sharpen your storytelling skills, we wanted to share the opportunity of becoming a Script Reader for the Austin Film Festival 2023 Script Competitions! After all, the best way to write screenplays is to read screenplays. 

At Austin Film Festival we aim to further the art and craft of storytelling by inspiring and championing the work of writers, filmmakers, and all artists who use written and visual language to tell a story. Each year a team of seasoned readers helps evaluate scripts of emerging writers, with the intent of providing helpful feedback. Read some scripts, earn a free badge for the 30th Austin Film Festival in October!
