WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an ACD at Red Productions, you’ll play a key supporting role in the creative process – developing ideas, writing scripts, building decks, and partnering with internal teams to bring video concepts to life. You’ll collaborate closely with producers, editors, and clients while helping ensure the creative stays strong from the first pitch to the final cut. This role will report directly to the VP of Post & Creative.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and pitch fresh, compelling video concepts
- Write scripts, creative briefs, and copy across various genres
- Build pitch decks and presentations for video projects
- Lead the creative direction on select projects from discovery through post
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align on strategy and vision
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to editors during cut reviews
- Review and give feedback on creative assets from external partners (writers, designers, directors)
- Pull references and inspiration to support pitches and creative development
- Ensure all creative content aligns with the specific brand’s identity and strategy
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a creative or content development role, preferably in an agency or video production settings
- Proven ability to concept, write, and present ideas that translate to video across various formats such as commercials, brand films, social spots, product explainers and testimonial-driven pieces
- Strong copywriting and storytelling chops
- Experience leading creative projects from ideation to delivery
- Collaborative mindset and great communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with ease
- Any design skills are a bonus!
