Stunts: Fundamentals of Rigging and Performer Flying

About the Event:

This workshope will cover the basics behind Rigging for Performers with a focus on basic applications for Live Show and Film Stunts. Participants will have a chance to be introduced to applications of basic rigging setups, harness work, choices of gear, choreography, safety protocols and more. Practical rigging may include Jerk Pulls, Decelerator Drops, Dead Man Drops, Performer Flying, and Rapeling. The time will be split between lecture and hands on/in harness applications.

Gear will be provided, but personal harnesses and helmets are encouraged. Please bring a lunch and/or snacks and water. There will be time to eat during the lecture.
