About the Event:
A two‑day celebration of film, art, and community hits San Antonio September 18–19. Friday features screenings and an art showcase, beginning with Street Medicine, a powerful look at SMSA’s outreach to unsheltered residents, followed by a live Q&A. Director Robb Garcia presents I Am San Antonio, highlighting the city’s diverse voices, and Rooted In Legacy, exploring the Arboretum’s transformation. A filmmaker Q&A follows. The evening closes with Center Stage PossABILITIES, an inspiring documentary on a faith‑based theater company for adults and individuals with special needs.
Saturday offers panels, workshops, and seminars led by industry professionals including Avai d’Amico, Brenda Garza, CJ Goodwyn, Danny Ramos, Kat Ybarra‑Franklin, Teresa Garza, Valeria Barriga, and Christine Hill.
