About the Event:
| The Round Top Film Festival (RTFF) is a filmmaker-first celebration of cinema set in Round Top, often called the “Aspen of Texas” for its creative spirit, historic charm, and cultural draw. Guided by its 2026 theme, Where Stories Run Wild, the festival transforms the town’s distinctive venues into an immersive destination for bold storytelling. RTFF presents a curated mix of narrative, documentary, and short programming, alongside panels exploring the craft and future of filmmaking, from performance and production design to stunts, fashion, and emerging voices. Live music and intimate performances are woven throughout the weekend, creating a vibrant and layered experience. With an emphasis on connection and creative exchange, the festival brings together filmmakers, audiences, and industry in an intimate, highly curated environment. As a nonprofit, it extends its impact year-round, supporting access to film and creative education for rural youth across Texas. |
