What sound should you get one location? What can you actually use when you do your edit? How can you get the best sound possible? Dr. Nicolai Jacobsen will answer all these questions and more. An experienced teacher and composer, he can answer anything!
Instructor: Dr. Nicolai Jacobson
Nicolai Jacobsen has been teaching Audio for more than a decade. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Audio Production at the Art Institute of Houston. He is a composer with a Doctoral degree at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music where he studied with Arthur Gottschalk, Pierre Jalbert, and Kurt Stallmann. He has composed for film and his work draw from many diverse musical cultures including electronic music, jazz, progressive rock, and Asian traditional music. He has worked with members of Eighth Blackbird, New York New Music, the Enso Quartet, Random Access Music, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, and the Indianapolis Chamber OrchestraBack to the event calendar
