About the Event:

Our mission is to build an annual flagship environmental film & music festival in Dallas, TX and a year round community that supports film, music, culture, and the outdoors. We seek to promote film and the art of storytelling in a way that entertains, informs and inspires audiences to get outside, push boundaries, and protect the environment.

The 2023 EarthX Film Festival will be in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas, TX, October 20 – 22.

The Bishop Arts District is a culturally diverse and art infused neighborhood. The event is a showcase of environmental and outdoor – adventure films with Q&A’s and speaker panels and workshops with filmmakers, activists, athletes, and Texas movers and shakers. We showcase films to entertain, inform and inspire audiences of all ages.

Past festivals have featured films from independent filmmakers as well as brands such as Patagonia, National Geographic, REI, North Face, Protect Our Winters, Reel Rock, Redbull, Natives Outdoors, Chicken and Egg, WaterBear, Redford Center, and many other companies contributing to the environmental film space.
