Amarillo College: VFX - A Case Study 1
March 23, 2021 to April 13, 2021
About the Event:
Amarillo College School of Cinematic Arts invites you to take part in a unique opportunity that offers a bird’s-eye view of the VFX (Visual Effects) industry.
If you’ve been wondering if a career in the visual effects industry is for you, the new AC School of Cinematic Arts is offering two online classes that will help you decide. Anyone with an interest in the film and digital production industry should register now before seats fill.
Using examples in films starring Beau and Emily Bridges, students will be able to ask questions and interact with digital arts master David Shapiro of Semkhor as he explains the different VFX methods of Rotoscoping, 3D Modeling, and Lighting and Rendering.
These classes will deepen your understanding of how VFX are used in the film-making process and provide a unique orientation and scope of the VFX industry through real film case studies.
Classes will be held in an online platform, similar to Zoom. Students enrolling in these classes must have access to a working computer and active internet service.Back to the event calendar
