Now in its second year, Scrambled Genius Film Fest – playfully titled for a potential rearrangement of the host city's name – features a full day of screenings in the downtown Palace Theatre, built in 1938.

Programming is largely composed of a Best of the Fest from the Lost River festival, happening in nearby San Marcos a few weeks prior, Oct 12-15.  Expect a variety of witty & compelling shorts; a Lone Star Showcase of Texas filmmakers' work; as well as documentaries themed to racial & social justice – all held in the historic, lovely theatre situated in the heart of Guadalupe's county seat.
