  • The Department of Music offers the Associate in Arts degree curriculum leading to certification in music education and the liberal arts music major. These specialized programs of study are designed to meet all of the lower division requirements of the National Association of Schools of Music. Private instruction in Voice, Piano, Organ, Synthesizer, Band, and Orchestral Instruments is offered each semester for students majoring or minoring in applied music. As a community service, the Music Department provides opportunities for interested adults and pre-college students to participate in various courses, private lessons, and college-sponsored performance groups.
