WEB VIDEO: Honoring The Star Of Texas Award Recipients
The Office of Governor Greg Abbott today released a video honoring recipients of the 2016 Star of Texas Awards, presented to first responders, peace officers and firefighters who have been seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. The video honors the men and women in uniform who have shown extraordinary valor by putting their lives on the line every day to serve and protect their communities across the State of Texas.
Yesterday, Governor Abbott presented 57 awards to the 2016 Star of Texas honorees and their families in a ceremony at the Texas Capitol in Austin.
