Texas Joins Largest-Ever U.S. Business Delegation To Hannover Messe 2016

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism today announced it will be part of the largest-ever United States delegation to participate in Hannover Messe 2016, the world’s largest and most influential trade event for industrial technology. The trade mission and event is set to take place April 25–29, 2016, in Hannover, Germany.

For the first time in the Fair’s history, the United States will be the partner country, a status that provides more than 390 businesses and organizations in the U.S. delegation an unprecedented opportunity to be prominently featured throughout the event.

The State of Texas, with support from the Texas Economic Development Corporation and the Texas Workforce Commission, will lead a delegation of Texas small businesses to showcase their products and services to more than 200,000 potential trade partners from across the globe, including global investors, buyers, distributors, resellers and government officials.

“Hannover Messe offers an ideal environment for Texas businesses to form new international relationships and expand their networks, which will open the door to new business opportunities," said Governor Abbott. "I am proud that some of Texas' most innovative and forward-thinking businesses will be spreading the message that Texas is wide open for business.”

Energy, U.S. Pavilion, Hall 27, G50-15

  • American Completion Tools (ACT) based in Burleson, Texas provides a wide range of quality products and services to fit the needs of the global oil and gas market.
  • Apfelbaum Industrial, Inc. based in El Paso, Texas offers a complete range of energy industrial products and systems for power generation, transmission, distribution and maintenance, as well as specialized services in pre-engineering, engineering, mounting and construction.
  • Viking Cold Solution is based in Houston, Texas and focuses on energy efficiency for thermal and cold storage systems. Vikings Cold Solutions operates with a passive Thermal Energy Storage system that is designed to manage and conserve electricity, reduce operating costs and extend the useful life of existing mechanical equipment.
  • SANA ENERGY is the renewable energy division of Sana International Inc., a 22-year-old company based in San Antonio, Texas. Its renewable energy division, Sana Energy has been operating for 6 years and focuses on the sale, import and exportation of products such as solar modules, inverts, and other consumer products.

  • Orion Fans, a division of Knight Electronics, designs, develops and manufactures a broad line of AC fans, DC fans, fan trays, fan accessories and blowers to meet the continuing thermal management needs of OEMs worldwide. ORION Fans is based in Houston, Texas and has representatives in the Europe, Asia and Mexico markets.

The Economic Development and Tourism Division (EDT), housed within the Office of the Governor, serves as the state’s leading economic development organization marketing Texas as the world's premier business investment destination. The division pursues business expansion and relocation prospects, with the goal of developing job creation and export opportunities for the Texas business community.
