First Lady Cecilia Abbott Addresses Meals On Wheels Texas Annual State Conference
First Lady Cecilia Abbott attended and delivered remarks today at the Meals on Wheels Texas Annual State Conference in Waco. She spoke on the importance of volunteerism and service to others, and her personal experiences as a volunteer for 10 years for Meals on Wheels in Austin.
“I believe that we are each called to service, and you have enthusiastically answered that call,” the First Lady said. “Like you, Meals on Wheels is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I hope you will join me in continuing to elevate the importance of volunteerism and service to others. With your help, I know we can work together to help enrich the lives of all Texans.”
